About

Özgecan Atabay, clinical psychologist and psychotherapist

After completing my degree in psychology at Istanbul University in 2014, I moved to France to train in psychoanalysis. I continued my studies at the UFR of Psychoanalytic Studies at Paris Diderot University (Paris VII), where I had the opportunity to undertake several internships with diverse populations.

After my master's degree, I worked in child and adolescent psychiatry between 2019 and 2022, while also starting a private practice in parallel. From 2022, I moved into adult psychiatry and worked in various settings — community mental health centres, inpatient units and day hospitals — until 2025.

Alongside my university training, I have qualified in several therapeutic approaches, including schema therapy, Lifespan Integration (LI-ICV) and EMDR therapy. I now devote myself fully to my private practice, where I work with adults using an integrative approach tailored to each person's specific needs.
